Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using Photo Together App ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the App only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate and current information and to keep your account information updated.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload, share, or transmit content that is illegal, infringes others' rights, or violates our Child Safety Standards.
• Harass, threaten, or impersonate others.
• Send spam, advertisements, or unsolicited bulk content.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the App.
• Use the App to interfere with or disrupt our services or peer connections.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) without our written permission.

5. Reporting and Moderation

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior. If you encounter content or users that violate these Terms:

• Report a message: Long-press the message inside any album and choose "Report to admin".
• Block a user: On the Friends page, tap the ⋯ menu next to a friend and choose "Block". You will no longer receive their messages and they will be removed from any shared albums.

We commit to reviewing reports and acting within 24 hours. Action may include removing the offending content, suspending the reported user, or permanently terminating their account. We may also take action without a report when we discover violations through our own monitoring.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of the photos, videos, and messages you share through the App ("User Content"). The App transfers User Content peer-to-peer between devices and does not store it on our servers, except as needed for offline message delivery (queued briefly on our message broker until the recipient comes online).

You represent that you have all necessary rights to share your User Content and that doing so does not violate any law or third-party rights.

7. Subscriptions and Purchases

• The App offers optional Pro subscriptions through Google Play and the Apple App Store.
• Subscription billing, renewal, and cancellation are handled by the respective store, subject to its terms.
• Pro Points and free upload quotas are non-transferable and have no monetary value outside the App.

8. Service Availability

The App is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that messages will always be delivered immediately. Peer-to-peer connections depend on network conditions outside our control.

9. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior. Upon termination, your right to use the App ends immediately.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including loss of data or content.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan), without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
